Danny Ching

Deemed The Quiet Champion, Danny turned to SUP in 2009. Taking a chance he co-formed 404 SUP where they designed and distributed boards. He has competed and won in Outrigger Paddling and SUP, proving he can paddle any craft that requires a blade. With numerous podium placing medals in the last few years, and the creation of his SUP DVD “Mastering Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Technique with Danny Ching” he provides the knowledge, experience, and quiet drive to H2mexicO.

 

Jamie Mitchell

From Coffs Harbor, Australia, Jamie is a professional paddler and one of the world’s ultimate watermen. As a 10x consecutive Molokai Oahu Paddleboard Race Winner and a Battle of the Paddle champion, since 2002 Jamie has dominated nearly every competition he has entered. Also known as a fearless big way surfer, in 2007 Jamie was nominated in Billabong’s XXL Big Wave Awards, for a massive wave ridden at Todos Santos, Mexico. livinginliquid.com

 

Dave Kalama

A big wave and SUP icon, Dave began his film career by appearing as himself in Biggest Wednesday: Condition Black in 2000. He has also appeared as himself in Step Into Liquid and Inside “Die Another Day” in 2003 along with Riding Giants and The Ride/The Day in 2004. Connor Baxter

Talia Decoite

Young Talia was born and raised in the Hawaiian Islands, and in 2007, she became the youngest women to ever paddle the 32-mile Molokai to Oahu paddleboard race. Her long-term goal is to carry on the Polynesian tradition of paddling and becoming the best water women to beat. At the ripe old age of 20, she has a great head-start at attaining her goal. As a young woman of father, she is a positive and inspiring role model for a new generation of young women entering the world of SUPing.

 

Dave Boehne

A young up-and-comer, Dave is no stranger to the waterman community. His family owns and operates Infinity Surfboards and Surf Shop in Dana Point, CA. Dave, his brother, Dan and his father, Steve all shape and design surfboards and Stand Up Paddleboards. Dave’s parents are World Champions in Tandem Surfing, being named one of the “First Families of SUP” by SUP Magazine. Dave grew up spending practically every waking moment in the ocean. He has been a professional surfer for half his life and t his past year in 2011, Boehne recently finished 4th place in the annual SUP Poll Awards.

Slater Trout

A young ambassador of the sport of stand-up paddling, he is originally from Florida. Slater now lives in Maui, Hawaii and has dedicated himself to the waterman lifestyle: SUPing, Surfing, Tow Surfing, Outrigger Canoe… anything that keeps him in, on and around the water. His passion, however, lies with stand-up paddling as evidence by his early success in the sport: 2010 Junior of the Year, 6x podium finisher at the Gerry Lopez, Rainbow Sandals Battle of the Paddle ,US Champion, 14ft. Gerry Lopez

Known as Mr. Pipeline, Gerry is a legendary surfing icon whose career has spanned over 50 years. Gerry now lives in Bend Oregon, and is an avid snowboarder and stand-up paddler who continues to expand the boundaries of what is possible in every facet of life. Teaching SUP’ing and yoga around the world, Gerry’s Zen-approach to huge waves, and life in general, is not only inspiring – but has allowed him to tap into a state of achievement and well being that defies his years.
